The literal translation of カタナーサカナ is "swordfish" and that is the main character of my comic. I am still working on the back story, the events leading up to this opening scene. I know roughly how I want this to go, but I have been playing around with a few different ideas.
Everything takes place under water in a busy corral reef city, modeled after a city like とうきょう. However it is set in the feudal system era.
This was my main source for onomatopoeic カタカナ:

and to a lesser extent,

Any inputs/comments/suggestions would be appreciated! :)

カタナーサカナはいいなまえです。あなたのえはかわいです!
